Established in 2010, Cool Dog was created almost by accident when its founder struggled with his dog Snooky’s mischievous ways. Snooky, affectionately known at home as 'The Boss' would search out the dirtiest puddles to jump into to cool down...hence the origins of the Cool Dog brand name.

This led to two principle issues which Snooky’s owner and Cool Dog‘s founder resolved to solve. The first being how to quickly and easily attach the lead to a wriggling wet and muddy Snooky before he shook and covered him from head to toe? The second, with each plunge into the muddiest puddle imaginable, Snooky’s collar would need washing and would require a long time to dry out.



It is as a result of these Snooky challenges that the Cool Dog brand came into being. After two and a half years of product development pre-production prototypes of the K9 Explorer & K9 Pro-Tech dog collar and lead became a reality and were brought to the market at Global Pet Expo 2011 in the USA where the two products were phenomenally received by major retailers and distributors from the US and around the World.

Alongside the Cool Dog Club brand our founder decided to additionally launch Cool Cat Club, Cool Dog Extreme, Cool Cat Style and Fur-eze with plans for a further five brands to compliment them in the near future. Once created these will provide a definitive one-stop-shop for all your dogs and cats needs whilst also providing owners with scope to purchase useful and practical items for themselves.
